Who is fotoboat ?

Fotoboat was set up by me, Mike Rice. That's me in the photo, trying to get past Rosie Sands before she luffs me up. I have been taking photos since I was 10, and building, sailing and racing a variety of dinghies for about 20 years. Fotoboat is an opportunity for me to combine these two passions into a business with something worthwhile to offer fellow sailors.

Fotoboat is also an opportunity for a team of partners to display and sell their photographs of dinghy sailing events around the UK.

How does Fotoboat Work?

By arrangement with your club or class association, we will come to an event, take lots of photographs on the water and post the results on the website within a day or so.  You may then view the pictures and order prints – it’s as easy as that!

Fotoboat is a 100% digital operation.  This means very fast results. At any event we would normally post the pictures on the website within 48 hours, where competitors can view the pictures and order prints, securely, online.  Since fotoboat started in late 2003, we have built up a library of over 100,000 images from events around the UK and abroad.
