22 May 08 - Beat the Crunch with our Bulk Discount Scheme

The 2008 Summer championship season is getting under way and already Fotoboat has been out there taking lots of fantastic pictures of you and your boats, pushing the Fotoboat online gallery well past the 100,000 image mark. 

Sadly, our picture count isn't the only thing going up. The costs of all the essentials of a good championships - fuel, food and beer - are going up faster than the black flag at a Fireball open. At Fotoboat we would like to do our bit to keep costs in check, so we have introduced a new bulk discount scheme. 

If you buy 3 or 4 of any Fotoboat products in the same order we will reduce the price of those products by 10%. Order from 5 to 9 of the same product and the price will be reduced by 20%. If you go for 10 or more, the price will come down by 40%. This would reduce the price, for example, of an A4 print from £14.95 to £8.97. Note that the prints (or files) don't have to be of the same image to qualify for a discount.

Fotoboat discount packages can let you give your favourite pictures to members of your family or friends, ideal for grannies and grandpas.  Alternatively if you are a yacht skipper, why not buy a set of prints for your crew to thank them for their efforts? With price discounts of up to 40%, buying a big set of prints is now much more affordable, so go on treat your friends and family.

06 Apr 08 - All RYA Nationals Pics Uploaded

Well, it didn't go quite according to plan, either for you or for us.  But we were on the water on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday and all the pictures have now been posted - click here to go straight to the album.  Apologies to all of you who were looking for pictures on the site during the week, or in the marquee.  Mike had major PC problems and had inordinate difficulties in adapting to Elaine's Mac  - must be an age thing!

31 Mar 08 - Fotoboat at the RYA Youth Nationals

We are pleased to announce that the RYA have asked Fotoboat to be the official "parents" photographer at the 2008 Youth Nationals and Trials at Pwllheli Sailing Club from 31 Mar to 4 Apr.  The event will be covered by Elaine Marsh and Mike Rice.

As ever, we will be dependent on the weather, but if all goes well we should be able to start publishing pictures on the site from Wednesday and also show a selection of pictures in the event marquee from Thursday.  If you have any special requests or need to contact us about anything call Mike's mobile  (07774 946930) or lookout for the person with the bright orange Fotoboat bib (not to be confused with the windwark mark...)  Have a great regatta and looking forward to seeing you on the water.

17 Jan 08 - FOCUS Launched

FOCUS - the Fotoboat Online Commercial Users' Service - was launched today, when Speedsails Ltd were signed up as the first subscriber.

14 Jan 08 - all Bloody Mary images now uploaded

All the images from Saturday's Bloody Mary at QMSC have now been uploaded.  I have organised them as far as I can into folders by boat class.  Happy browsing!
