| Mike
Rice
Mike Rice founded Fotoboat in 2003
following a career in the Armed Forces and more recently as a management
consultant. He has built, sailed and raced a variety of dinghies
since learning to sail in the late 1980s. Mike is a member of Exe
Sailing Club where he is the webmaster and newsletter
editor. His current ambition is to qualify as a RIB driver.

| Alan
Henderson
Alan Henderson is a full time sailing writer and
photographer, based in Ayr, in the South of Scotland. Alan joined fotoboat in
April 2004, and can be seen most weekends taking photographs
at events in Scotland and the North of England. Alan supplies photographs to
competitors, sailing magazines, local newspapers and other buyers. A keen dinghy
sailor, Alan is a frequent contributor of both words and pictures to sailing
magazines. He takes on commissioned work, both photographic and writing, for
selected clients. His busy shooting programme covers all popular
dinghy classes, and includes many major Championships as well as open meetings.

| Steve Bell
Steve has been a full time professional
photographer since 1992. He lives with his wife and son in Weymouth,
Dorset, just a stone's throw from the beach. He is an experienced dinghy
sailor and power boat user and sails at both Weymouth and Portland
National Sailing
Academy and Castle Cove Sailing Club. He supplies photographs to
competitors, web sites, sailing magazines, local newspapers and anyone else who
wants them.
Steve covers many events in his local
area, ranging from club level races to World Championships.

| Tim Bees
Tim sails a B14 at Brightlingsea
SC. When he is
not racing, he takes his camera out on the water to capture the action. He
sells his pictures through his club web site and contributes £1 per print to
the RNLI. The same deal will apply if you buy Tim's pictures through
fotoboat.

| Tom
Gruitt
Tom studied ND Photography at the Plymouth College of
Art and Design. He first picked up a film SLR camera at the age of 11, taking
photos of landscapes, seascapes and motorsport and when he started sailing aged
14, he started photographing this too. He currently sails a 12ft Skiff, but has
sailed Cherubs, National 12s, J80s and offshore racing yachts. Tom works as an Editorial Assistant for Yachts & Yachting magazine and

| Heather
Davies
Heather is a former dinghy/keelboat member of Queen
Mary Sailing Club, where she enjoyed great sailing photo opportunities
"on the doorstep" . Her photographs, many of which can be seen on the
QMSC website and around the clubhouse, have frequently been published in Yachts
and Yachting, often accompanying her reports of major events. Since moving
to Teignmouth in Devon 2 years ago Heather has not
done so much photography, but she says "the partnership with Fotoboat has
given me a new direction".

| Elaine Marsh
Elaine is based in North Wales, where she combines
sailing photography with racing an RS 400 at Port Dinorwic sailing club and
competing in the RS Fat Face circuit. Elaine has been a sailor
"for a long as she can remember". She started taking sailing
photographs as part of her degree, during which she worked with Martin Turtle
and Dave Walker. Elaine will be well placed to cover some major
events for Fotoboat, including Abersoch dinghy week and other events in the Llyn
peninsular, North Wales and the North West of England.

| Dawn Barsley
Dale
Dawn
Barsley Dale is a keen dinghy racer, helming both a Europe and Flying Dutchman and
crewing a Merlin Rocket at Lymington Town YC. When not sailing, she busy
taking pictures and is happy to respond to requests for photography for specific
events.

| Dave
Walker Dave Walker has been sailing since he was 8 years of
age. He has made his name as a crew at the highest level and has sailed with
many top helms including Neil Marsden, Ian Pinnell, Rob Greenhalgh, Jim Hunt,
Dave Winder, Neil Thornton, Tim Rush and both the Steve Goachers. Some of the
classes Dave has sailed include Mirror, Streaker, Scorpion, Fireball, B14, Solo,
Contender, 505, 470, J24, Cork 1720, 18 Foot Skiff and Mumm 30.
Dave has had great success along the way, winning
national and international titles, especially in the Fireball where he has been
Inland Champion 4 times, first at the World & European Qualifier twice, and
second in the Worlds. He has also won the J24 Irish National Championships and
come second in the Champion of Champions race.

Mike Shaw
Mike Shaw learned to sail while serving in the Armed
Forces. Later, he became the youth fleet captain at Burton SC, where his son was
introduced to Derbyshire Youth Sailing. Mike introduced and developed the
Derbyshire Youth Sailing website www.dysailing.com.
Through this he re-discovered a passion for photography. Since 2003 he has
carried out photography for every Derbyshire Youth Sailing event which includes
10 series events per year held throughout the County plus many National Schools
Sailing Association events.
Mike will be on hand to provide energetic and
enthusiastic pictorial views of the great inland sailing which occurs at many
events throughout the heart of the UK here in the Midlands

| Clare
Turnbull
Clare
is a freelance sports photographer working in the SE and East Anglia. Although
most of her work has previously concentrated on land based sports (mainly
cricket and hockey), in 2006 she had the opportunity to start taking pictures on
the water, thanks to her family's involvement in dinghy sailing.

| Richard
Janulewicz
Richard grew up in
Grimsby and sailed with the Enterprise fleet at Grimsby and Cleethorpes Yacht
Club. Among the sailors who were
happy to mentor the cadets were some legendary dinghy sailors of the 1960s and
70s – Dai Jones, Bill Bacon, Mike Rimmer and the McNamara family, to mention a
memorable few.
Although no longer
sailing competitively, Richard has been able to direct a long-held interest in
photography towards sailing. He now
combines weekend photography with a weekday career in his local hospital and
bringing up a young family.

| Gary Fitch
Gary is a very keen sportsman, playing
mainly football and rugby in his sporting career but he has also been
involved in skiing and windsurfing. When Gary's career as a participant
was forced to end due to injury he was keen to continue his involvement,
so he turned his hand to photography.
Gary now works as a freelance sports
photographer working mainly in the Dorset area but covering sports all
over the south coast. After attending a photographic course at Bournemouth
Arts Institute he had the opportunity to take some pictures for WPNSA.
This fired up an interest and passion for taking action shots of sailing
events. This was over two and a half years ago and Gary has been talking
pictures of events at WPNSA ever since. Gary’s pictures are now used in
various publications and he is a regular contributor to the Dorset Daily
Echo. His work on sailing and his other sports can be seen on his own web

Tom
Hurley is a freelance photographer based in Exmouth. Though most familiar with
shooting live music, he is as happy at sea as on stage. His sports work has
included hockey tournaments in the UK, golfing in the USA and rowing photography

Green
Since a very early age Andy has been on the water
having fun in boats of all shapes and sizes. For the last 13 years
he has been a member of the Pwllheli
Lifeboat and he is currently the helmsman of the inshore
lifeboat. Fotoboat gives Andy the opportunity to combine boating
with his other life-long interest, photography. |

Gates
David is predominantly a dinghy sailor, having
competed in a number of classes since the age of 9 years, including:
Solo, Enterprise, 470, Contender, RS400, RS600, Merlin Rocket sand
Hurricane. He has also done some keel boat racing around the cans in
the Solent. He is based near Windsor. David has been
interested in photography for a number of years, mainly specialising in

| Debbie
Degge
Debbie is a
Civil Engineer based in Worcestershire, a keen sportswoman she has
competed in Sailing, Golf and Archery. The
digital era has revived her interest in photography which she likes to
combine with her passion for sailing.
Debbie is a
former Topper World Champion and she has also been a winner in four other
singlehanders. When not sailing she will be capturing the action at events
local to her home club, Bartley SC. |
